Virtual Reality Services
Vision Fountain has over four years’ experience creating and delivering virtual reality experiences across Wales, working with museums, schools, libraries, art centres, and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) environments.
We have delivered multi-media exhibitions, including VR, across Wales.
We have made ALN settings a focus area: VR can support, confidence-building, gradual exposure, focus, and engagement, while remaining accessible, with varying degrees of “difficulty” for varying needs.
We design and deliver:
- Interactive VR experiences and immersive 360° video for learning, skills development, and storytelling
- Projects include Wales’ first interactive VR mine (developed with Rhondda Heritage Park), an interactive Welsh Fossil Library, and a beta Virtual Reality Shop designed to support everyday skills such as shopping, decision-making, and familiarisation
- Location-based immersive video experiences, filmed in real environments in the UK and internationally (including Hong Kong and Turkey), often used for calm exploration and step-by-step exposure
All experiences are designed to be:
- Controller-light or controller-free where required
- Suitable for seated use
- Flexible in duration and pace
We provide:
- A managed fleet of VR headsets, pre-configured and tested for ALN and educational use
- Remote device management, allowing content to be updated, restricted, and monitored without on-site technical support
- Strong safeguarding controls, with headsets locked to approved content only and no open internet access
Experiences can run fully offline, making them suitable for schools, care settings, community venues, and mobile delivery.
