The 15-Minute heritage Project, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) has enabled Vision Fountain to work with a promising young local photographer and aid in his career development.

The project will tell the tale of Heath Park in North Cardiff, Wales.

Actively engaging with the parks community, from all walks of life, Vision Fountain will create a short film, told by the people, about their park.

An important part of capturing the spirit of the park and it’s vitality in the local community, is a series of portraits that are being undertaken by young and aspiring photographer, Tomos Kay. Vision Fountain’s Creative Director, Richard P Jones, will shadow, assist and (occaisionally) advise the aspiring photographer, in order to make the most of this unique opportunity.

The photographic portraits will form an intergral part of the overall outcomes from the project and help to re-inforce the place Heath Park holds in the local community.

The photographs, along with film, will have a community exhibition and be uploaded to the “People’s Collection Wales” for the benifit of future generations.
