We are working on a new partnership between Rhondda Cynon Taff Borough Council  which is harnessing the power of immersive media to help people take positive steps towards a more active, connected and fulfilling future.

We are working with the Leisure and Sport, Culture, Libraries, and Work and Skills to capture real-life situations for people who aren’t experiencing them.

The project will create a series of immersive films that allow participants to experience new places, activities and opportunities in a way that feels engaging, accessible and personal. From exploring cultural attractions and community activities to discovering new hobbies, skills and environments, the films are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and encourage participation.

The immersive experiences will not be delivered in isolation. Local mentors working directly within communities will use the films as part of tailored conversations and support programmes, helping individuals identify opportunities that match their interests, aspirations and personal circumstances.

The initiative recognises that the journey from economic inactivity to employment is rarely a single step. It often begins with increased confidence, improved wellbeing, stronger social connections and participation in community life. By using real-life immersive storytelling to showcase what is possible, the project aims to help people move from inactivity to activity, and ultimately towards learning, volunteering, training and employment opportunities.

We are capturing a vast array of activities and services that are available to the public in RCT from scuba diving to digital education.

Through a combination of innovative technology, community-based support and strong collaboration across council services, the project seeks to inspire residents to see new possibilities, build confidence in their own abilities and take meaningful steps towards achieving their goals.

This is more than a digital project. It is an opportunity to open doors, broaden horizons and support people on a journey towards greater independence, wellbeing and employment.

O Anweithgarwch i Gyfle: Defnyddio Cyfryngau Ymgolli i Ysbrydoli Teithiau Newydd

Rydym yn gweithio ar bartneriaeth newydd gyda Chyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf sy’n harneisio pŵer cyfryngau ymgolli i helpu pobl i gymryd camau cadarnhaol tuag at ddyfodol mwy gweithgar, cysylltiedig a boddhaus.

Rydym yn gweithio gyda’r gwasanaethau Hamdden a Chwaraeon, Diwylliant, Llyfrgelloedd, a Gwaith a Sgiliau i ddal sefyllfaoedd bywyd go iawn ar gyfer pobl nad ydynt yn cael y cyfle i’w profi eu hunain.

Bydd y prosiect yn creu cyfres o ffilmiau ymgolli sy’n galluogi cyfranogwyr i brofi lleoedd, gweithgareddau a chyfleoedd newydd mewn ffordd sy’n ddifyr, yn hygyrch ac yn bersonol. O archwilio atyniadau diwylliannol a gweithgareddau cymunedol i ddarganfod hobïau, sgiliau ac amgylcheddau newydd, mae’r ffilmiau wedi’u cynllunio i ennyn chwilfrydedd, meithrin hyder ac annog cyfranogiad.

Ni fydd y profiadau ymgolli hyn yn cael eu darparu ar eu pennau eu hunain. Bydd mentoriaid lleol sy’n gweithio’n uniongyrchol mewn cymunedau yn defnyddio’r ffilmiau fel rhan o sgyrsiau a rhaglenni cymorth wedi’u teilwra, gan helpu unigolion i adnabod cyfleoedd sy’n cyfateb i’w diddordebau, eu dyheadau a’u hamgylchiadau personol.

Mae’r fenter yn cydnabod mai anaml iawn y mae’r daith o anweithgarwch economaidd i gyflogaeth yn digwydd mewn un cam syml. Yn aml, mae’n dechrau gyda mwy o hyder, llesiant gwell, cysylltiadau cymdeithasol cryfach a mwy o gyfranogiad ym mywyd y gymuned. Drwy ddefnyddio adrodd straeon ymgolli sy’n seiliedig ar brofiadau bywyd go iawn i ddangos yr hyn sy’n bosibl, nod y prosiect yw helpu pobl i symud o anweithgarwch i weithgarwch, ac yn y pen draw tuag at gyfleoedd dysgu, gwirfoddoli, hyfforddi a chyflogaeth.

Drwy gyfuniad o dechnoleg arloesol, cymorth sy’n seiliedig ar y gymuned a chydweithio cryf ar draws gwasanaethau’r Cyngor, mae’r prosiect yn ceisio ysbrydoli preswylwyr i weld posibiliadau newydd, magu hyder yn eu galluoedd eu hunain a chymryd camau ystyrlon tuag at gyflawni eu nodau.

Mae hwn yn fwy na phrosiect digidol. Mae’n gyfle i agor drysau, ehangu gorwelion a chefnogi pobl ar daith tuag at fwy o annibyniaeth, llesiant a chyflogaeth.
