“The Rush” is a an experimental project that demonstrates the effectiveness of time-lapse in a micro-documentary format around a central theme.

The films feature metropolitan rush hours in Tokyo, Paris and London.

Films were shot over a week in each city.  The micro-documentaries illustrate population and transport pressure in metropolitan centres.

The Daily Rush – Tokyo shows the rush hour in the world’s largest and most densely populated megalopolis.

Home to some 35 million people.

The micro-documentary is a mixture of dense imagery and sounds recorded from the city.
