About Vision Fountain

Vision Fountain create new and progressive styles of story-telling.

We use advanced and experimental photographic techniques combining audio-visuals with digital technology.

Projects engage with communities and are aimed at the general public.

The “Energy+Notion” digital installation project engaged engaged with mining communities, youth groups and schools. The work is currently touring arts centres and cinemas in South Wales.

The project funded by Arts Council Wales featured in national and international media.

We are currently working on a projects in the upper Rhymney Valley with retired coal miners with the Winding House Museum and The White Rose Resource Centre.

We are also piloting techniques in a classroom environment with Pantysgallog Primary School, Merthyr:  the children are the creative practitioners, creating portraits , mapping locations, creating animated stories as well as recording their personal testimonies of their own family’s heritage. This work has been facilitated with Cardiff University’s “Stronger Communities, Healthier People” / Fusion and the 3GS Development Trust, North Merthyr.
